CNN money just did a report on how much it
costs BlackBerry to make their latest and
greatest phone.
The price is based on how much the
components of the BlackBerry Z10 costs.
Dual core CPU $23.50/N3,750
Touchscreen $26.50/N4,240
Camera component $15.00/N2,400
Flash storage $9.00/N1,440
Other components (battery, chip.etc.)
$21.00/N3360
Remaining materials (chassis, enclosure
etc.etc.) $ 59.00/N9,440
This brings the cost of manufacturing each
BlackBerry Z10 device to about $154 which
is about N24, 640.
Kinda makes me wonder why the carriers are selling it for N100, 000
