An Indonesian woman drowned her nine-year-old son in the bath, claiming she was worried that his “small man-hood” would affect his prospects for the future, a police spokesman said Thursday.
The 38-year-old woman from the Indonesian capital Jakarta told police her son had had a small man-hood prior to being circumcised, but that it appeared to shrink further after the operation, police spokesman Rikwanto told AFP.
She told police investigators that she killed him as he would have a bleak future with his small man-hood,” Rikwanto said.“She drowned her son in a bathtub filled with water. She then dressed him and laid him on a bed. After that, she went to a nearby police office to report her crime.”
An award-winning TV and film director who won Best Short Film at the Berlin Film Festival in 2009 was killed in a gruesome shark attack off the coast of New Zealand today. 46-year-old Adam Strange, who's directed a whole bunch of international commercials for companies like Pepsi and Firestone, was swimming at a popular NZ beach when a Great White pulled him underwater. According to local reports, at least 3 other sharks were drawn to the attack. Local police jumped in a small boat and raced over to the scene ... joined by a helicopter. The cops fired at least 20 shots at the sharks, but it was too late. One shark was reportedly killed in the gunfire and its body measuring 14-feet long -- washed up on shore a short time later. The authorities were able to recover the body of Adam Strange after the attack.
Pope Benedict had said he decided to retire after realizing that, at 85, he simply didn’t have the “strength of mind or body” to carry on. Today is the final day of his eight year Papacy which took a dramatic turn when he announced two weeks ago that he would step down by the end of the month. He will meet with 115 cardinals this morning for a final time. The focus of the meeting will be on the election of a new pope.
Most of the cardinals from around the world will meet with Pope Benedict XVI, before he flies out with helicopter to the papal residence at Castel Gandolfo, south of Rome.
Pope Benedict XVI will stay at Castel Gandolfo for about two weeks, while his apartment inside Vatican City is set up. The apartment is believed to be in a monastery.
Pope Benedict who becomes the Bishop of Rome Emeritus from today thanked the people for respecting his decision to resign on grounds of failing strength and ailing health, but more important, reminding them that “it was time for a younger man to lead the Catholic Church into the future.

Did someone whisper to Omosexy that her reality TV series “Omotola: The Real Me” is fake because she has called on the Yoruba god of thunder, Sango, to strike the teeth of such persons. Harsh?
Well, she must have been hard hit to hear that a TV series she put her time and effort to make successful and as real as possible is been touted as unreal in some quarters. See her tweet below…
The U.S. President, Barack Obama has awarded a Nigerian Journalist, Mr. Edwin Nwachukwu the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
The Volunteer Service Award is a recognition by the UN President of individuals that have helped to address the needs of persons with disabilities.
Delivering the award, President Obama commended the Nigerian Journalist “for helping to address the most pressing needs in the country”.

The beauty of colour blocking is that it can be used to maximise your curves when combined properly. The point of color blocking is to be found in colours you never thought you can be seen in. Always mix colors up with a little bit of style and swag.These three basic colors: Orange, Yellow and pink are bright colors and very perfect for color blocking. See our lovely and bright these colors appear in the pix below;
In combining colours be sure to think “out of the closet”, you can rock colours like pink, purple, blue, yellow, mustard, orange, red, grey , white and the likes of them. If you are a shy person, make use of basic black and white neutral colours like beige.
To rock this trend well, consider the colours in relation to your skin tone and personality make sure they are flattering. See photos below

While embracing “daring” colours is something some of us are doing in this season from the orange bags to the green pants and purple blazers, others seem lost in this colour craziness. There are certain rules that come along with each fashion trend just like the 80’s had its long skirts and corsets to this present era, in colour blocking, there are no rules!!! The bolder you get, the more the trend comes to life.
Basic Do’s in colour blocking
-wear this style with neutral accessories
-little or nude makeup would definitely suffice
-try adding a shade of black to even things up, a black belt or a watch.
-please try not to overdo it with colour blocking.
