Jennifer Lopez in her famously revealing
Versace dress; Lil Kim bares her flesh on the Grammys red carpet and
Rihanna opts for a plunging neckline.
NO BUTT curves, no nipples, no side boobs and no naughty words in other languages on your T-shirt.
The talent at this year's Grammys have been warned to cover up as
broadcasters attempt to avoid fines for televising a flesh fest of
outrageous costumes.
Broadcaster CBS sent a lengthy and very
specific list of wardrobe no-nos to celebrity minders warning butts,
breasts and other bits must not be displayed on the red carpet or the
stage.
The network's wardrobe policy has also banned brand names and visible thong underwear.
While
the men in jeans and suits should be safe, some female artists may have
to make last-minute costume change to fulfill the demands.
"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," the letter reads."Thong-type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack.''
CBS also wants a crackdown on the side-boob trend.
CBS also stated that policy extends to any audience members who may appear on camera.Music
fans and fashionistas have come to expect outrageous outfits at the
Grammys in the past two decades with dare-to-bare style icons including
Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga.
The 55th Grammy Awards will be held on sunday February 11, 2013
