Adele's 21 named biggest-selling album in the world

Adele, 21 has been announced as the best-selling album of the year in the world for the second year in a row. She has helped British acts secure a record 13.3 percent share of global album sales, after being named the biggest-selling record in the world for a second year in a row.
The figure has risen from 12.6 percent in 2011, also helped by boyband phenomenon One Direction, whose albums Up All Night and Take Me Home were the third and fourth best-selling albums in the world.
